988 is a comprehensive service that allows people to speak to a mental health professional 24/7, 365. In the event of an emergency, a mobile crisis unit will assist you in person with your crisis. 

If someone you know or love has stated a desire to harm themselves or others, please accompany them to the nearest emergency room for an assessment before returning to school, work, or other activities.
